Clutch/Brakes |
 |
Warner Electric offers a complete line of wrap spring clutches and
clutch/brakes, which are particularly well suited for performing indexing,
positioning and backstopping functions in a variety of applications,
including office automation, information processing, and material
handling machinery. Our wrap spring products provide a high torque-to-size
ratio, and are offered as mechanically or electrically actuated units,
they come completely pre-assembled from the factory, and require no
lubrication or maintenance for life. |

Standard CB
CB Series units are electrically actuated clutch/brake
packages used for starting and stopping a load rapidly and accurately,
without any cumulative error. In fact, at speeds up to 1800 RPM, loads
are started and stopped within ± 1/2ƒ per revolution. CB Series units
are solenoid actuated and are available in 12, 24 or 90 VDC, as well
as 115 VAC versions. |

Super CB (SCB) Series
The Super CB Series is a high performance, longer
life version of the Standard CB Series, providing at least three times
the life of a standard unit in the same application. The SCB Series
is recommended for heavy duty applications requiring maximum torque,
high cycle rates and minimum maintenance. SCB Series units are also
solenoid actuated and are available in 12, 24 or 90 VDC, as well as
115 VAC versionsd |

WSC Series (formerly PSI Series)
WSC Series clutches are simple, mechanically actuated
devices. They are available in three different configurations to perform
each of the following functions: overrunning / one-way (Model O);
start / coast-to-stop (Model SS); and start / stop / single revolution
(Model S). |
