Model 6445 is a high performance microstepping drive combined with a programmable indexer. The package uses an RS-232/485 port to allow single or multi-axis communication at 9600 baud. Sixteen programmable inputs and twelve programmable outputs are compatible with standard 5 to 30V dc I/O. The 6445 features a 12 kByte battery-backed RAM for storage of parameters and mover profiles. Motion control programming is simplified with StepperBASIC, an easy-to-learn extension of the BASIC protocol. The 6445's size of 4.25 x 6.25 x 11.75 in. requires only 50 square inches of panel space.
