The 6430 adds an integral power supply to the model 6410, with all its features as its core. The power supply accepts ac line power from 110 to 260V ac. Outstanding features of the 6430 include PacSci's patented four-phase bipolar chopper drive, for precise current regulation and minimum ripple current. Patented Digital Electronic Damping reduces instability at medium speed ranges. Idle Current Reduction reduces current to motor windings during idle periods to reduce motor heating and enhance motor efficiency. The 6430 features a single power supply input and adjustable current from 0.625 to 5.0A rms using convenient DIP switches. All the ac powered 6400 drives offer the benefits of an external 66V dc output to power additional drives directly. The 6430's size of 2.25 x 6.25 x 10.0 in. requires only 22.5 square inches of panel space.
