High Efficiency Driver Offers Plug-n-Play Simplicity

The Model 5630 Microstep Driver Package is a high efficiency bipolar chopper MOSFET driver for medium to high power step motors. Driver and motor plug together and are ready to run in minutes.

Five switch selectable microstepping ranges deliver smooth low speed operation plus positioning resolution up to 25,000 steps/rev. The 5630 features four switch selectable output current ranges, from 5.0A rms (7.1A peak) to 8.0A rms (11.3 A peak) per phase.

Patented mid-range instability compensation ensures the availability of full motor torque at all speeds. The Model 5630 continuously supplies RMS current equivalent to the dc rated value of the motor to prevent any torque loss.

Pair the 5630 with Pacific Scientific's NEMA 34 or 42 frame POWERPAC steppers.
