The Model 260 Accu-Coder's™ large bore (up to 0.625")and low profile 1.16"package design makes it a perfect solution for many machine and motor applications. It is available in two distinct mounting design options: a blind hollow bore and a complete thru-shaft design. Both designs employ Encoder Products Company™s innovative anti-backlash flexible mounting system that allows for simple, reliable, and precise encoder attachment. And unlike traditional kit or modular encoder designs, the Model 260 and its integral bearing set provide stable and consistent operation without concerns for axial or radial shaft runout. Both models also incorporate a clamp rather than set screws to secure the unit to a shaft. Installation is a snap!

For brushless servo motor applications, the Model 260 can be specified with three 120 electrical degree phase tracks to provide four, six, or eight pole commutation feedback. The optional 100 °centigrade (and extended 120 °centigrade) temperature capability allows servo motors to operate at higher power outputs and duty cycles, limiting the concern for thermal related feedback device damage. With its sturdy construction and IP 64 seal option, you can be confident the Model 260 Accu-Coder ™ will withstand your most environmentally demanding industrial applications.
